American Council of the Blind Scholarship All legally blind, full-time students admitted to academic and vocational training programs at the post-secondary level for the upcoming school year are encouraged to apply for one of these scholarships. Part-time students who are working full-time are also invited to apply for the John Hebner Memorial Scholarship. A cumulative grade point average of 3.3 is generally required, but extenuating circumstances may be considered for certain scholarships. Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes. Daughters of the Cincinnati Scholarship Applicant for the Daughters of the Cincinnati Scholarship must be daughters of career commissioned officer in the regular U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard or Marine Corps. Daughters of reserve officers and enlisted personnel are not eligible. Nellie Martin Carman Scholarship Fund Be a graduating senior from a public high school in the county of King, Pierce or Snohomish in the state of Washington in the year of appointment.   Be a US citizen. Fourth Marine Division Association of WWII Scholarship (High School Grads) – An active duty or reserve U.S. Marine
– A U.S. Marine who has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
– An active duty or reserve U.S. Navy Corpsman who is serving, or has served, with the U.S. Marine Corps
– A U.S. Navy Corpsman who has served with the U.S. Marine Corps and has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. NavyA U.S. Marine who served with the 4th Marine Division during World War II and is/was a member of their association
A U.S. Marine who served with the 6th Marine Division during World War II and is/was a member of their association

Christa McAuliffe Teacher Incentive Program – Legal residents of Delaware
– U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens
– Full-time students enrolled at a Delaware college in an undergraduate program leading to teacher certification
– High school seniors must rank in upper half of class and have a combined score of 1570 on the SAT
– Undergraduates must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA
– Awards may be provided for programs of study not available in Delaware or prorated for part-time students
– Preference is given to applicants planning to teach in a critical need area as defined by the Delaware Department of Education

VIP Women In Technology Scholarship Qualified candidates who will seek a career in information technology or a related field and meet the program requirements as defined in the application.Submissions are evaluated based on candidate essays, which define and offer meaningful solutions to local or statewide IT problems. Twin Tiers Youth for Christ Scholarship Candidates for the Twin Tiers Youth for Christ Scholarship must be a Christian and live in Chemung County or an adjacent county for at least six months. The student must be enrolled or will be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university and must obtain a recommendation from a pastor of a Christian church. Candidates must complete the Twin Tiers Youth for Christ Scholarship application, available from their guidance office or online. Applicants will be asked to complete essays about their development as Christians. Membership in Youth for Christ is not a requirement of this scholarship. Roma Lodge Merit Scholarships – The student selected must have taken a high school college preparatory course of study.
– Demonstrated a commendable academic record which will qualify for admission to the college university of their choice.
– Demonstrated positive citizenship and leadership qualities through participation in school and community activities.
– Show potential for higher academic success by achieving ACT or SAT scores acceptable to the college or university of their choice.
– High school academic performance – 50%; extra – curricular activities – 25%; community activities (employments, church activities, volunteer activities) – 25%

Friends of the California State Fair Scholarship Awards are earned by college students and graduating high school seniors who exhibit academic excellence, leadership potential, civic engagement and a strong sense of personal commitment to continuing education. Marion Huber Learning through Listening Awards – Have a specific learning disability
– Have been registered with RFB&D for at least one year prior to the closing date (individually or through a school)
– Be a member of the current award year graduating class of a public or private school or home school in the United States or its territories
– Have an overall grade average 3.0 or above, based on grades 10 through 12 (or equivalent if an alternative grading system is used)
– Plan to continue formal education beyond high school at either a two- or four-year college or vocational school

Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship To be eligible, high school seniors must have proven their ability to put the spirit of competition above winning while participating in a varsity sport. These students must have also earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and performed volunteer work in the community. Hanover College Academic Merit Scholarships Hanover Academic Merit Scholarships serve to recognize the overall academic achievement of students. The scholarship review committee examines GPA, SAT/ACT scores, class rank, course load and academic rigor for all applicants to Hanover College. Mainely Character Scholarship To be eligible for this award, applicant must be a Maine resident. High school seniors, or anyone who has received a high school diploma and is entering the first year of post-secondary education at a Title IV eligible institution, are eligible. Scholarships are awarded based on character through an assessment process including a written essay, which demonstrates the four principles of courage, integrity, responsibility and concern. A personal interview is also required. Albuquerque Community Foundation (ACF) Notah Begay III Scholarship Program – applicants must be Native American scholar-athletes
– minimum GPA 3.0
– attend a college or university full time
– include in your personal statement how you plan to give back to your community after college

– proof of tribal enrollment or Certificate of Indian Blood (minimum 25%)
– one reference from a current academic teacher or counselor
– one reference from an athletic coach
